John Blanks III, a 29-year-old resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, was shot and killed on August 16, 2024, near The Banks area of the city. The shooting occurred around 10:45 PM, close to the Andrew J. Brady Center. Emergency responders arrived on the scene but were unable to save him; he died from multiple gunshot wounds shortly after the incident.
