Melvin Stanford, a 57-year-old African American man from Cincinnati, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on September 15, 2021. He was found suffering from a gunshot wound on Losantiville Avenue in the Roselawn neighborhood and was later pronounced dead at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit responded to the scene but have not disclosed any suspects or arrests related to the case.
