Dontez Hollis, a 25-year-old African American man from Cincinnati, OH, was fatally shot on January 24, 2021, in East Price Hill. He was found dead in his car in a parking lot on Grand Avenue. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m., and responding officers pronounced him dead at the scene. The investigation into Hollis' death began immediately, but police initially did not have any suspects or information on what led to the shooting.
