On October 26, 2024, Paul Allgood, a 51-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot near a Kroger grocery store located in the University District. The incident occurred shortly after 2:30 PM, prompting immediate medical attention. Allgood was transported to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:24 PM due to his injuries.
