Jamarion Broom-Cox, an 8-year-old African American boy from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on April 10, 2014, after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head. He was riding in the back seat of his uncle's car when the shooting occurred. The incident took place while the car was driving eastbound on Roswell Drive. Jamarion was immediately taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in critical condition but unfortunately did not survive.
