On July 24, 2020, 23-year-old Devontay Stanton, an African American male from Columbus, OH, was tragically shot and killed inside a home located on the 2600 block of Audubon Road. Stanton was found by police and rushed to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The suspect in the case, 23-year-old Jaylon Walker, was arrested on August 15, 2020, and charged with murder, felonious assault, kidnapping, and improper discharge of a firearm into a habitation. W
