On March 25, 2023, at approximately 8:15 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Stateline, Nevada. Omar Reyes Garcia, a 32-year-old resident of South Lake Tahoe, California, was found with a gunshot wound to the head near the Center Bar inside the casino. Garcia was immediately transported to Barton Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
