In the summer of 2020, the life of Gregron Lavelle McCoy, a 38-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. On August 7, 2020, McCoy was a victim of gun violence. Remembered affectionately as Greg, he was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and had made Las Vegas his home since 2014. Those who knew him recalled his infectious smile and his readiness to lend a hand to others.
