On July 1, 2021, Abraham Acosta, a 32-year-old man, was fatally shot in a violent incident that was part of a three-day string of robberies and shootings in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada. The suspect linked to Acosta's death, as well as two other homicides, is John Anthony Carrillo, a 29-year-old man from California.
