On March 9, 2023, 27-year-old Devon Michael Adams of Hugo, Minnesota, was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Cub Foods store in Fridley. Responding officers found Adams with a gunshot wound to the chest; despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to a hospital.

According to reports, Adams intervened upon hearing a woman screaming in the parking lot. He approached to assist, and during the confrontation, he was shot by the woman's assailant. Adam ...Read More
