On a Memorial Day afternoon in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, a confrontation turned fatal for 18-year-old Tycorian Jaquan Estes, a Black/African American male. On May 29, 2023, what was supposed to be a prearranged exchange of firearms between teenagers devolved into a deadly encounter. The incident unfolded around 1 p.m. in an alley in the 3300 block of North Grimes Avenue, where Estes met with 17-year-old Anthony Guerrero and a 14-year-old accomplice.
