Lonzo Allen Washington, aged 28, was fatally shot on the evening of August 9, 2018, in the 1000 block of Morgan Avenue North, Minneapolis. The incident occurred just after 8 p.m., and police officers responding to a report of shots fired found Washington with a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite efforts to resuscitate him, Washington was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation quickly led to the arrest of Jamar Pierre Mullins, aged 33, who was taken into custody the following day ...
