Wanya Corey

Wanya Corey, a 17-year-old from Minneapolis, MN, was fatally shot on October 11, 2020. The incident occurred near the intersection of Plymouth and Logan avenues in north Minneapolis. Responding officers found Corey without a pulse and not breathing, but they managed to perform CPR and get him breathing again. He was transported to Hennepin Healthcare, where he underwent surgery but unfortunately died hours later.
