In the early hours of Sunday, September 3, 2023, the life of Devante Victor Jones, a 29-year-old Black/African American male from Mankato, was tragically cut short on a street in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Just before 2 a.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the night in the 400 block of Sherburne Avenue in the Frogtown neighborhood.
