Glenn Danen Smith, a 27-year-old man from Minneapolis, was fatally shot on August 16, 2021, in the parking lot of Ted's Recreation, a bar located on Larpenteur Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota. The incident occurred shortly after midnight, around 12:45 a.m., when police received multiple reports of shots fired near the intersection of Lexington Parkway and Larpenteur Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Smith in a vehicle in the parking lot, where he was pronounced dead by paramedics.
