Dawahn Darnell Littles, aged 38, tragically lost his life on October 21, 2017, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The incident occurred early Saturday morning when Littles attempted to break up a fight outside his home on Dale Street. According to reports, several gunshots were fired during the altercation, and Littles' older brother heard him yell, 'I'm hit.' Littles was subsequently taken to Regions Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:04 a.m.

The suspect in the case, Denise Chanel White, aged 27, was identified and charged with two counts of second-degree murder. White, who was known to Littles' brother, was seen fleeing the scene with a small handgun. She later showed up at a home on Minnehaha Avenue, where she confessed to a man inside that she had shot Littles. The man, recognizing White as an acquaintance of his sister, allowed her into the house, where she continued to cry and repeat her confession.
White's criminal history includes several convictions for theft-related crimes and two for fifth-degree assault. She made her first court appearance on the charges shortly after the incident, with her next hearing scheduled for November 22, 2017. The case remains under investigation by the Saint Paul police.
