In the pre-dawn hours of a Friday in Minneapolis, the life of 14-year-old Fahim Laron Miller, a Black male from Saint Paul, was tragically cut short. On April 26, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., Fahim was with other people inside an SUV at a gas station in the 2600 block of University Avenue NE. The quiet of the early morning was shattered when a second vehicle pulled into the parking lot and gunfire erupted from within.
