Keair Marquis Reed, a 16-year-old from Chaska, Minnesota, was tragically shot on September 18, 2024, in New Hope, a suburb of Minneapolis. The incident occurred at a friend's home on the 6000 block of Quebec Avenue North. Initially reported as a self-inflicted wound, Reed was found unconscious and not breathing when police arrived at the scene around 1:30 p.m.
