Sunrise Badbear Wade, a 19-year-old from Green Bay, Wisconsin, was tragically shot to death on the night of July 29, 2022, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. near the 4100 block of Snelling Avenue. Officers responding to a reported shooting found Wade in an alley with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving measures and subsequent medical attention at Hennepin Healthcare, Wade was pronounced dead at the hospital.
