In the early evening hours of June 5, 2022, violence shattered the peace in the Hanger Hill district of Little Rock, Arkansas, leading to the tragic death of Darrell D. Profit Jr. A Black/African American male, Profit was just 32 years old at the time of his death. The incident unfolded around 8 p.m. near the intersection of 15th Street and Hanger Hill, a location that would become the center of a homicide investigation.
