On June 5, 2022, at approximately 8 p.m., Little Rock police responded to a shooting incident near the intersection of 15th Street and Hanger Hill. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Darrell D. Profit Jr. lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, Profit was pronounced dead at the scene.
