Sharman Bowie, a 36-year-old Black/African American man, was found shot to death just after dawn on July 8, 2017, at the Westwood Apartments on Nandina Circle in southwest Little Rock. Officers were dispatched around 5:30 a.m. after a report of a struggle in a breezeway; when they arrived, Bowie lay on the ground with a fatal gunshot wound.
