On September 8, 2021, David Dunn, a 39-year-old resident of Redfield, Arkansas, was fatally shot near the 2000 block of Ivy Chapel Road in Pulaski County. According to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, Dunn had stopped his vehicle to speak with a person walking along the road when he was shot around 6:30 p.m. Deputies later found Dunn with a gunshot wound in the road, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
