On December 4, 2016, at approximately 4:45 p.m., 22-year-old Addison Alexander was found critically injured in the driver's seat of a green Mercury Grand Marquis in the 2500 block of Lewis Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. He had sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A second victim, 21-year-old Glen Riggs of Little Rock, was also injured in the incident.
Riggs was located at the scene and later arrived at the hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses reported that the shooting was a drive-by incident involving two Black males in a burgundy four-door Hyundai Accent. The Little Rock Police Department indicated that the shooting was possibly related to narcotics activity, a common factor in shootings in that area.
As of the latest available information, no arrests have been made, and the case remains unsolved. The LRPD continues to seek information from the public to assist in the investigation.
