In the early morning hours of July 4, 2015, a violent altercation in the parking lot of the Briarwood Apartments in Little Rock, Arkansas, left two men dead. One of these men was 26-year-old Terrence Slaughter. Police responded to a call about a person down at approximately 2:19 a.m. and discovered Slaughter suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Baptist Hospital and underwent surgery, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
