Erwin Ernest Bunge, a 34-year-old personal trainer, was last seen on October 10, 1988, in San Bruno, California. He had recently returned from the Seoul Olympic Games, where he had coached boxer Henry Martinez, who competed for El Salvador. On the day of his disappearance, Erwin met with his business partner from his painting contracting company.
