In the spring of 2014, a violent encounter in Little Rock, Arkansas, led to the death of 38-year-old Martin Henderson. On a Thursday afternoon in late April, police responded to a call about a shooting on Rinke Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered Henderson inside a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency services transported Henderson to a local hospital, but his injury proved to be fatal, and he succumbed to the gunshot wound.
The Little Rock Police Department promptly began an investigation into the shooting. Their efforts quickly led to the identification of a suspect.
Within a day of the incident, authorities located and took into custody 35-year-old Ronnie Hervey in connection with the fatal shooting. The investigation suggested that the shooting was the result of a dispute between the two men. Hervey was subsequently arrested and faced charges for his involvement in Henderson's death.
