On November 5, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Minneapolis, Minnesota, resulting in the death of 13-year-old Qudir D. Blackwell. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning, around 1:30 AM, near the intersection of N. 24th and Sheridan avenues in the 2400 block of N. Ferrant Place.

According to police reports, the shooting was described as an 'apparent accidental' incident. A 14-year-old boy was handling a firearm when it discharged, fatally wounding Blackwell. The victi ...
