Darryl Anthony Campbell, a 55-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 4, 2017, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred at his residence on Omaha Street, southeast of downtown Greensboro, shortly before 2 p.m. Police were dispatched to the scene and found Campbell unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite attempts to revive him, Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene.
