On a late Sunday evening in Topeka, Kansas, the life of Anthony Laverne "Man" Marshall III, a 30-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On June 18, 2023, what should have been a day of celebration for Father's Day, turned into a scene of violence and loss. Just before 11:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 4100 block of Southwest Twilight Drive after receiving reports of a shooting.
