In the late morning of May 24, 2024, the life of Charles Balocca, a 61-year-old White man, was tragically cut short in Topeka, Kansas. Emergency services were dispatched to the 100 block of NW U.S. 24 Highway shortly before 11:00 a.m. following a report of a person with a gunshot wound.
