On February 19, 2024, 53-year-old Cesar Tadeo of Kansas City, Kansas, was critically injured in a shooting on the 200 block of South 11th Street. Responding officers found him with gunshot wounds around 4:35 p.m., and he was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, Tadeo succumbed to his injuries three days later.
