On a spring morning in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of Kenton Marcus Williams, a 45-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On May 3, 2024, at approximately 10:30 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting in the 2400 block of Alden Street, near Klamm Park in the city's Northeast neighborhood. Upon their arrival, they discovered Williams deceased at the scene, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
