On May 3, 2024, at approximately 10:30 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting in the 2400 block of Alden Street, near Klamm Park in the city's Northeast neighborhood. Upon their arrival, they discovered Williams deceased at the scene, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department's Major Case Unit is leading the
ongoing investigation into the homicide. In connection with the shooting, authorities have taken one suspect into custody.
