Jaimarion Deron Miller, a 20-year-old Black male, was found with apparent gunshot wounds in the middle of the road in the 4900 block of Dickinson Road in Kansas City, Kansas, on the morning of October 3, 2024. Police responded to a report of a shooting in the area just after 7 a.m. and, upon arrival, discovered Miller, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Known for his infectious laughter and love for basketball, Jaimarion was the third of seven children. He had attended F.L.
Schlagle High School and was employed at Fastenal in Edwardsville, Kansas. He was a father to a young daughter, November M. Douyon Miller. His life was remembered by family and friends during a visitation and funeral service held in early November.
As of now, the investigation into Jaimarion Miller's death is ongoing. Law enforcement has not yet made any arrests in connection with the fatal shooting, and no information regarding a suspect or suspects has been released to the public. The case remains an unsolved homicide.
