In the late summer of 2016, the life of Andre D. Singleton, a 56-year-old Black or African American man, was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Kansas. On the evening of Saturday, August 6, 2016, police were called to the Central Park Towers apartment building located at 15 North 10th Street in response to a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene inside one of the apartments.
