In a quiet Kansas City, Kansas neighborhood, the evening of March 7, 2016, turned into a scene of unimaginable violence that claimed the life of 29-year-old Austin Lee Harter, a Caucasian male, and three other men. The tragedy unfolded at a small, one-story home on South 36th Street, a place where friends had gathered.
