On March 15, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Opelousas, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Xavier Bryant. The incident took place around 5 p.m. in the 800 block of Jerome Loop.
Xavier Bryant was allegedly shot twice at the specified location. Following the shooting, Bryant was transported by first responders to a medical facility, where he was later pronounced dead.
