Stanley Boxie, a 49-year-old African American man from Opelousas, Louisiana, was tragically killed on June 16, 2019. The incident occurred on Father's Day, when Boxie was ambushed and shot multiple times with an AK-47 rifle while sitting in his vehicle parked in the driveway of his home. The brutal attack left the community in shock and mourning.
