Jonathan Semien, a 38-year-old resident of Opelousas, Louisiana, passed away on January 10, 2023, as a result of a homicide. On the same day, deputies from the St. Landry Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired on Kenneth Boagni Sr. Drive near the Townhouse apartments in Opelousas. Upon arrival, officers found Jonathan Semien, who had been shot multiple times and had succumbed to his injuries.
