Kenric Jerome Castille, a 44-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on March 29, 2016, in Opelousas, Louisiana. He was found dead at a home on the 400 block of Common Street, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred early in the morning, and later that day, Opelousas police arrested De'Angelo Rubin, a 20-year-old male, and charged him with second-degree murder in connection with Castille's death.
