Death by Force

Jon-Qualon Trevonte Pitre, a 5-year-old African American boy from Opelousas, Louisiana, tragically passed away on February 27, 2014. The young boy was shot at point-blank range in the head while playing in his front yard. He was taken to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, where he was declared brain dead and subsequently taken off life support on March 2, 2014. His organs were donated following his death.
