Kevin Roberts, a 38-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 19, 2016, in Opelousas, Louisiana. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and deeply saddening for the community. Roberts was found lying on the street outside his truck, which continued to move forward after the fatal shots were fired. The investigation revealed that he had been shot multiple times, with two bullets found around his heart.
