Montarrio Dargin, a 23-year-old African American male from Sunset, Louisiana, tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting incident on September 25, 2022, in Opelousas, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:00 a.m., on Ina Clare Drive. Montarrio Dargin was driving a vehicle when he was struck by several rounds of gunfire. Despite being taken to a local hospital by a private vehicle, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
