On that Saturday evening, the Winn Parish Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a shooting on Louisiana Highway 501.

The investigation into the shooting led to the arrest of Camp's 17-year-old son, Andrew Camp. Shea, a 42-year-old woman from Winnfield, was charged with one count of obstruction of justice and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
