Death by Force

Lamar Ford, a 39-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on August 5, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on the 1300 block of Elysian Fields Avenue. According to reports, Ford was shot in the head by an unidentified assailant who got out of a car and stood over him before firing two shots. Ford was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical technicians.
