Justin Hayes, a 27-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 8, 2019, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hayes was shot and killed outside a bar on the 3800 block of Washington Avenue around 10:00 PM on that fateful Sunday night. His family, particularly his grandmother, Rosetta Jones, who was recovering from a stroke and on dialysis, was left heartbroken and in shock.
