In the early morning hours of December 15, 2024, the life of 16-year-old Thomas Braden was tragically cut short by gun violence in New Orleans, Louisiana. The male teenager was in the 1600 block of Elysian Fields Avenue in the city's 7th Ward when the fatal shooting occurred. When officers from the New Orleans Police Department arrived at the scene around 4 a.m., they discovered Braden suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
