On December 15, 2024, Thomas Braden, a 16-year-old resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, tragically lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred in the early morning hours in the 1600 block of Elysian Fields Avenue in the 7th Ward. Upon arrival, officers found Braden with fatal gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
