In the quiet neighborhood of Central in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a dispute simmering between adults tragically ended the life of 12-year-old Cedrica Amerie Lee on the evening of May 13, 2023. Young Cedrica, a sixth-grader at Park Forest Middle School, found herself an unwitting participant in a conflict that had nothing to do with her. The series of events that led to her untimely death began when she was asked to accompany a woman to the home of the woman's ex-boyfriend.
