In the early hours of August 28, 2022, a 59-year-old woman named Rosalind Scott was discovered inside a vehicle on Glen Oaks Drive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident, which occurred around 1:34 a.m., prompted an investigation by the Baton Rouge Police Homicide Detectives. Scott was a Black female.
