In the quiet evening of May 24, 2023, tragedy struck in Shreveport, Louisiana, forever altering the life of 72-year-old Eddie Lee Rogers. Just after 9:10 p.m., Mr. Rogers was discovered outside his home in the 1800 block of David Raines Road, suffering from a single, devastating gunshot wound to his abdomen.
