On August 16, 2023, 53-year-old Michelle Leigh Wells of Shreveport, Louisiana, was fatally shot during a domestic dispute at her residence on Dallas Street. The incident occurred in the city's Valencia subdivision, where witnesses reported seeing her boyfriend, Richard Spencer, leaving the scene after the shooting.
